Eversfield Organic are proud to announce the arrival of 141 pigs to the Eversfield Estate ! Others may be culling their pigs but we´ve saved the lives of many! The owner of these pigs had contemplated selling them for sausage meat! However after a conversation with our farm manager and great deal of thinking Mark Bury owner of Eversfield Organic decided to increase the Pig Herd from 16 to 141! The pigs arrived today without too many problems and are now settling down in their new home.... The pigs are Medam crossed with a Welsh Medam and Pietrain and produced wonderful pork.
