Yes you can - you don't have to sign up to one of our regular boxes. You can create your own box by using our grocery tabs and adding individual items to your basket.
There is a minimum order value of £45.
If you custom make your own box, there is a £3.95 (Reduced from £4.99) standard delivery charge. We do have additional delivery options which have extra delivery charges.

There is no standard delivery charge on our selection organic meat boxes and the small, medium or large repeating boxes (excludes the sample box). All the above delivery options are available but we minus the £3.95 delivery charge off the Monday-Friday - mainland UK and Isle of Wight options. A £3.95 delivery charge applies to some of our Butcher’s Choice selection boxes but not others: please check the website when you order.
The small, medium and large meat boxes are available only on an automatic repeat basis, however it is possible to make the other Butcher’s Choices boxes or your very own custom box a repeat option too.
You can make changes to your repeat order as long as you comply with our order deadlines (please see below). Please note that you cannot take items out of a set box. You could, however order additional items to arrive with a set box if you desire.
We understand that our set meat boxes are not to everyone’s taste and don’t meet everyone’s dietary requirements. We are eager to offer our customers the best of both worlds which is why it is also possible custom make your own box. You can do this by visiting ‘The Butcher’s Shop’ tab on our website.
Setting up your regular order takes all the hassle out of shopping. You can choose the frequency and amend, delay or cancel your order. We send our customers order reminder emails nine days before their scheduled delivery date. This means that there are two days during which amendments can be made before the order is processed in the proceeding seven days.
You can log into your account and choose to suspend your delivery until a later date (please see instructions below). Alternatively please call us on 01837 871400 and we will be happy to help you make any alterations.
If you would like to amend the delivery date of your repeat order or add or remove any items from it, you can do this by logging into your account.
Once you have logged in to your account, click on ‘My Repeat Order.’ This will show you the items which are due for the delivery in your next order. From this page, you can remove any items which you do not want or you can choose to increase or reduce their quantity.
To add items to your repeat order, head to ‘The Butcher’s Shop’ tab on our homepage and begin browsing for the products which you would like to add. When it comes to adding the product to your basket, you have the option to tick either the ‘add to my next box only’ or ‘add to my regular order.’ By selecting the first option, the product will be included in your upcoming order as a ‘one off;’ this is a great option to choose if you have an upcoming dinner party, for example, and would like to add some additional items which you wouldn't normally order. By selecting the second option the product will become an automatic addition within your future repeat orders. We strive to offer our customers as much flexibility as possible. Once you have finished adding to your order, click ‘My Repeat Order’ at the top of the homepage. This will return you to a summary page where you can see all of the items due for delivery in your upcoming order as well as whether these are permanent or one off items.
You can change the delivery date of your repeat order by clicking on the ‘Delivery Details’ section once you have logged into your account. Please select your preferred delivery date from the drop down box.
From the ‘Delivery Details’ section you can also change the frequency of how often you would like to receive your regular order. You can choose to receive your order every 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
If you would like your delivery to be delivered to alternative address to your billing address, by selecting the option ‘deliver to a different address’ you can make any alterations you require.
From the ‘Delivery Details’ section you can also leave delivery instructions for our couriers to follow if you are not at home when your delivery is due.
You can update your personal details by clicking the ‘Your Account Details’ section once you have signed into your account.
Once you are happy with any changes which you have made to your upcoming order, simply sign out and we will process your order seven days before it is due for delivery.

If you have had any problems with your delivery please do not hesitate to contact the customer service team and we will see if we can resolve the issue.
When you place your order, we take payment by card on the same day. For repeat orders, we take payment by card on the first day which you order. Thereafter, we take payment automatically seven days before your next box is due for delivery.
We do not accept cash or cheque payments if you are ordering online.
We use the Extended Validation SSL which ensures the highest level of security when collecting card details and personal information making it completely secure from the internet. All transactions are processed through Sage Pay, our payment provider.
At the checkout enter the promotion code in the promotion code box and press enter. Please make sure it has been accepted as any misspellings will not be recognised.
We only store payment details for repeat orders. We accept most major card types excluding American Express.
We deliver anywhere in mainland UK, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands,Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver our meat boxes via DPD, our trusted external courier company.
When you get to the checkout stage when you place your order you will have the opportunity to choose a delivery day for your order (we deliver on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays).
Your meat box will arrive on your selected day on a delivery route planned by our courier network. Our Mainland UK and Isle of Wight delivery is a standard overnight service and delivery times range from 9am to 7pm Monday-Saturday. Please see ‘What if I am out?’ below. If you requested one of our special delivery time options at an additional cost, pre-10.30am or -12pm, the driver will fulfil this for you.
You are given a 1 hour delivery slot. This information is supplied by text SMS on the day of delivery providing you entered your mobile number at the time registering.
The DPD site displays the live location of the driver in relation to your delivery address. It also Shows the position of your order in the driver’s delivery queue. It notifies you when the driver is 15 minutes away. It also Displays parcels tracking history.
DPD will let you know when they’re 30 mins away.
Share your safe place – just upload a picture of your safe place and DPD will leave it there.
Don’t miss a delivery whilst on the school run. Use the app to let DPD know and they’ll deliver between 9:30am and 2:30pm
Please note: DPD will try their best to accommodate the school run times but it is not guaranteed. Make sure a safe place to leave the parcel is noted for the driver.
For orders made before 10am on a Friday you can select Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday delivery.
For orders made before 10am on a Monday you can select Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday delivery.
For orders made before 10am on Tuesday you can select Thursday, Friday and Saturday delivery.
For orders made before 10am on Wednesday you can select Friday and Saturday delivery.
For orders made before 10am on Thursday you can select Saturday delivery
Orders placed after 10am on Thursday will be delivered the following week.
You don’t have to be at home when we deliver. When you place your order online, all you need to do is write in the ‘delivery instruction’ box a safe place where it can be left and the delivery driver will leave it there for you. Customers with a repeat order can find this section by logging into their account and clicking on the ‘Delivery Details’ section. You can also log onto DPD site via the text message you receive (providing you have entered you mobile number when registering on our site) or use their App to let the driver know where to leave the goods safe or with a neighbour.
Yes you can: please select the ‘Collect from Farm’ option at the delivery stage of the order process. Selecting this option will remove any delivery charge that may be included in your order.
All of our organic meat and wild game is packaged in a controlled atmosphere to give it a longer shelf life. It arrives in vacuum packs or trays that are easy to store in the fridge or freezer. The foam liners inside of the recycled cardboard boxes which the meat is packed into are made especially for chilled packaging and combined with our ice packs, the meat arrives in perfect condition. The packaging which we use ensures that the contents of the boxes remain at fridge temperature for a 34 hour period in case there happens to be an unavoidable delay in the delivery of your order.
The boxes can be recycled again. The foam liners make great insulation: several of our customers line their attics with them while others use them for pet bedding.
