Who are we?

Eversfield Organic delivers fresh fruit & veg, organic meat, fish and poultry, artisan baked goods and creamy Jersey dairy produce, to homes across the UK. We are lucky enough to be based on the Bury family farm, where much of our organic beef and lamb is reared, on the outskirts of Dartmoor.

We believe the best food is the result of responsible farming and food production – animal welfare, care for our land and the environment are at the heart of what we do. We are certified organic by the Soil Association and part of the Pasture Fed Livestock Association, showing our dedication to working with nature, not against it.

Our skilled butchery team butcher all our organic meat on the day of dispatch to ensure it is absolutely the freshest it can be. Along with newly picked veg and other fresh produce, our organic meat reaches customers just the following day – you simply can’t get fresher than that!

We work with a wide range of organic artisans and small batch producers in order to showcase the best of the South West and beyond. Our aim is to show that great food is the result of responsible farming, great ingredients and passionate producers.

Marketing Manager

Is it you we’re looking for?

We’re looking for an energetic self-starter who has experience in marketing management or a food/commerce marketing role. We are a small but busy team looking for a positive, motivational addition to lead a traditional and digital media mix.

The role is full of variety and perfect for someone looking to progress their marketing career. You will be constantly seeking new opportunities for the business to succeed in an increasingly crowded marketplace, keeping an eye on the competition and making sure the business is at the forefront of the industry.

As a professional juggler, you will be happy managing a whole range of tasks at any time, and with great communication skills, you’ll be a whizz at chatting tech to a web developer one minute, and strategy with directors the next.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the executive team to set the marketing strategy for the business
  • Oversee a small and passionate team of marketers and designers
  • Be responsible for all digital activity including SEO, PPC, CMS, Social Media and Email Marketing
  • Get involved in copy writing and content creation
  • Lead PR and corporate communications
  • Devise strategy to drive traffic and maximise conversions
  • Lead analytic reporting of all marketing KPIs and support sales strategy
  • Manage online brand and product campaigns to increase brand awareness
  • Instigating and managing redesign projects, on- and offline
  • Improving usability, design and content of the website continuously
  • Managing budgets and planning of all digital campaigns
  • Evaluating customer surveys, market conditions and competitor analysis
  • Review new technologies and adapt to keep the business at the forefront of developments
  • Develop affiliate marketing programs and loyalty reward schemes

The successful candidate will:

  • Be experienced in running multi channel campaigns
  • Have experience of managing and motivating a team
  • Be experienced in digital marketing and in depth knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of bulk editing, multi-attribution modelling, bid management and A/B testing in Google AdWords
  • Have a keen interest in ecommerce technology and retailing
  • Have some understanding of design tools which may include Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, UX, Dreamweaver
  • Be educated to degree level in Marketing or any related field
  • Qualified CIM member or equivalent (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Previous experience in a similar marketing role

The role requires a Monday – Friday working week between 09:00 – 17:30. Additional hours may be required at busy times.
