Homemade Flavoured Butters

Homemade flavoured butter recipe 

 

Flavoured butters are so easy to whip up at home. With our deliciously creamy, organic butter as a base, fresh herbs and punchy flavours lift the butter to a whole new level. Top ciabatta for an alternative garlic bread, smear over grilled sweetcorn or rub over your roast chicken – the possibilities are endless.

 

Classic garlic & parsley

Mash 200g soft unsalted butter with 1 clove crushed garlic, 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley and a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. Shape into a log, wrap tightly in cling film and freeze or chill until needed.

 

Zingy chilli & coriander

Beat 200g soft unsalted butter with the zest of 1 lime, 1 level tsp of dried chilli flakes and 1 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped. Shape into a log, wrap tightly in cling film and freeze or chill until needed.

 

Lemon & dill

Smash 200g soft unsalted butter with zest of 2 lemons, 2 tbsp fresh dill and season to taste. Shape into a log, wrap tightly in cling film and freeze or chill until needed.

 

Anchovy umami

Beat 200g soft unsalted butter with ½ clove crushed garlic, 8 finely minced anchovies (drained of oil), ½ tsp of paprika, zest of 1 lemon, salt and pepper to taste. Shape into a log, wrap tightly in cling film and freeze or chill until needed.
