Silverside is a lovely joint, full of flavours and tender in texture, needing plenty of time in the oven, this slow-roasting beef joint is a favourite. Taken from the hindquarter, we leave all beef hanging on the bone for a minimum of 21 days before boning and trimming, this allows our Eversfield beef to gain top flavours. Silverside is a cut with many versatile cooking possibilities, although we sell primarily a roasting joint why not be more adventurous, try dicing into lean cubes and cooking all day for a mid-week casserole. Eversfield recommends using silverside when curing to make ‘salt beef’.

Eversfield Organic beef is guaranteed 100% grass fed on family run organic farms based here in the South West.
We use traditional British cattle breeds which benefit from natural, slow growing lives and produce beautifully marbled beef. They roam the Devonshire pasture grazing freely on a wide variety of native grasses, wildflowers and herbs.
Our beef is then hung for at least 21 days to mature the flavour for a tender, flavourful meat.
