A delicious onglet/hanger beef steak prized for its flavour. In the past, it was sometimes known as "butcher's steak" because butchers would often keep it for themselves rather than offer it for sale. The hanger steak is usually the tenderest cut on an animal and is best marinated and cooked quickly over high heat and served rare or medium rare, to avoid toughness. It is great in Mexican cuisine, and is generally marinated, grilled, and served with a squeeze of lime juice, guacamole, salsa and tortillas.

We use traditional British cattle breeds which benefit from natural, slow growing lives and produce beautifully marbled beef. They roam the Devonshire pasture grazing freely on a wide variety of native grasses, wildflowers and herbs.
Our beef is then hung for at least 21 days to mature the flavour for a tender, flavourful meat.
