We’re very excited about our latest partnership with The Cornish Spirits Drink Company, based just down the road from us on the north coast of Cornwall. Their hand crafted, organic Land of Saints Gin is now available to purchase from our online shop, in our farm shops in Tavistock and Totnes as well as being served at the Eversfield Organic Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale.

The Cornish Spirits Drink Company are partnered with Fauna & Flora International, the world’s oldest conversation charity. 50p from every bottle sold is donated to the charity, and at Eversfield Organic we’re matching that – we’re also donating 50p from each purchase to Fauna & Flora International. The company feel strongly about putting ethics before profit to help leave the world in a better place, and this is something we can definitely get behind.

Everything we sell here at Eversfield Organic is certified organic. The Land of Saints Gin is no different, carrying the same Soil Association certification that we do. Not only this, but The Cornish Spirits Drink Company are proud members of the Organisation for Responsible Business and are actually the only gin company to be approved by this organisation. Their responsible business practices, the best organic ingredients and local distilling make them the perfect partner for us.

As a Social Enterprise the company strive to apply business strategies that will maximise improvements to society and the environment. They want to maximise their social impact, evident in donating profits from the gin to Fauna & Flora International to support the charity’s global conversation efforts.

Although they hope to leave the wider world in a better place, the focus on the local environment in also important. The company believe that their final product is only bettered by locally grown and produced ingredients by “the heart and soul of Cornwall”. Once they have covered the costs of producing the gin, the company work to help raise the profile of Cornwall.

Fauna & Flora International

Fauna & Flora is the world’s oldest international wildlife conservation charity, founded over a century ago in 1903. They work to protect biodiversity globally, seeing this as the backbone to healthy ecosystems. Over their lifetime, the charity has worked with over 40 countries across 5 continents on more than 140 conservation projects.

The charity has a lot of famous faces backing it, from their royal patron HRH Prince William the Duke of Cambridge to Sir David Attenborough, Stephen Fry and Dame Judi Dench sitting on their board of vice-presidents.
