Eversfield Organic Beef is reared on the lush, mineral rich swards of West Devon, our Aberdeen Angus herd is one of the finest in Britain, producing delicious, dark, well-marbled organic beef which is traditionally matured on the bone for at least three weeks to allow the full flavour to develop.
We’re proud to have the only breeding herd of ‘Native’ Aberdeen Angus; a rare short legged pure bloodline which may be smaller than the rest - but small is definitely beautiful!
All our organic beef cattle are born and raised naturally on our 850 acre organic meat farm. The calves are reared on their mother’s milk, naturally weaned then grazed for up to 2 years in small herds. This ensures a plentiful supply of organic grasses, wild flowers and clover to provide a very natural balanced nutritional diet.
Because we don´t supply the supermarkets we can take our time to select cattle only when we think they’re ready. Our farm manager allows the cattle to ´finish´ naturally and our organic beef is then expertly prepared by our very own butchers here at the farm.
