Our flock of hardy Romney Marsh sheep thrives on the herb rich Devon pastured. True to the pioneering Eversfield spirit, the parent flock is crossed with Lleyn rams to produce the ´Kent Halfbreed´ a cross that was once the mainstay of the British sheep industry, but is now, sadly, extremely rare. Matured on the bone for at least 7 days, our prize winning lamb is renowned for its unique full taste, succulence and texture.
Because we’re not driven by commercial demand, we don’t rush to produce our lamb just for the spring; instead we take our time and allow nature to help us judge when the lamb is ready between 6 and 12 months. Therefore, our organic lamb is available to you fresh all year round, and is likely to be the best you’ve ever tasted!
